Livelihood
Shri Real Dream Of Foundation engages in multiple programs aimed at improving livelihoods and economic opportunities for underserved communities, especially in rural and tribal areas of Gujarat.
These livelihood initiatives are part of the foundation’s broader mission to reduce poverty, enhance economic self-reliance, and strengthen community capacities, particularly among youth, women, farmers, and other marginalized populations.
1. Skill Development and Employment Support
The foundation runs skill training programs designed to equip youth with practical abilities like computer literacy, tailoring, and other vocational skills.
These trainings are aimed at increasing employability and helping young people secure jobs or start small enterprises.
A long-term goal is to empower 20,000 youth by 2040 through these kinds of training efforts
2. Agriculture Development & Awareness
Recognising agriculture as a primary livelihood source in rural areas, the foundation works to educate farmers on sustainable farming methods, organic practices, and modern agricultural technologies.
Such awareness and capacity-building help improve productivity and incomes among small and marginal farmers.
3. Women’s Self-Help Groups (SHGs)
The foundation promotes women’s SHGs, which are community groups that support income-generating activities, savings, and credit management.
These groups encourage entrepreneurship and financial independence among women, enabling them to start micro-enterprises and contribute to household and community economies.
They plan to expand to 400 SHGs by 2040
4. Support for Education & Youth Transition
By supporting continued education and technical training, the foundation helps young people who cannot continue schooling due to financial constraints prepare for meaningful livelihoods.
This includes initiatives that bridge the gap from education to employment, helping youth gain skills aligned with market demands.
