Success Story of Ravindra Dhanji Rathva
Ravindra Rathva hails from the Rathva tribal community of Gujarat, India — a community known for its rich artistic heritage, especially Pithora art and traditional wood craftsmanship. Growing up in a rural setting, he was deeply influenced by indigenous carving techniques and symbolic tribal designs passed down through generations.
Despite limited financial resources and minimal exposure to modern markets, Ravindra showed exceptional interest in woodworking from a young age. Instead of migrating for labor work like many others, he chose to stay rooted in his culture and build something meaningful from it.
His impact goes beyond personal success:

Jaloda SC Women SHG - Bamboo Craft
In a small rural village, a group of hardworking women came together to form a Self-Help Group (SHG) with a shared goal — to become financially independent and support their families. Most of them were homemakers with limited income sources and minimal exposure to business opportunities.
Although bamboo was locally available, they lacked:
Proper training in bamboo craft
Modern design knowledge
Access to markets
Financial resources and tools
The turning point came when Shri Real Dream Foundation identified their potential and stepped in to support the women SHG.
The Foundation provided:

✅ Quality improvement guidance
✅ Tools and raw material support
✅ Financial literacy and entrepreneurship training
